Until Tuesday: A Wounded Warrior and the Golden Retriever Who Saved Him

By Luis Carlos Montalvan

252 Pages

Montalvan takes us through his journey of becoming a U.S. Soldier, going to war, and coming home with disabilities. Struggling with PTSD and trying to find his way in the world again, he is paired with a specially trained service dog, Tuesday.   They learn to work together and form a bond like no other. Heart warming, inspirational and above all informational, providing an inside view of a variety of topics. How service dogs are trained, and what they can do. What is PTSD and how does it affect soldiers. The types of discrimination many soldiers with PTSD and service dogs face. Not mention an inside look at war. This is a hard book to put down, but then again you really shouldn’t.
